Crownsworn

Win back the realm, one season at a time.

Crownsworn: a battle card over a green hill country map, showing the hero's army against a lair's guardians, a ring reading 82 percent to win, and the moves Charge, Hold, Parley, Rally and Duel
The game

What Crownsworn is.

A turn-based strategy game built around one hero. Every turn is a season. Set your county to work, march your army across the map, then settle one thing: a fight, a siege or a visit. A routine season takes about a minute, so a board fits into a short sitting.

  • Risk you can read. Before any fight the battle card shows your chance to win. Pick a move (Charge, Hold, Parley, Rally or Duel), watch the odds change, then fight.
  • The hero is the centre of it all: twelve classes, four faiths, attributes, six gear slots and a spellbook, plus Steward, Warlord and Courtier skills that grow as you use them.
  • Run the county from your court: split its people between farming, industry, building and levies, set rations and tax, forge gear, send envoys and research spells.
  • Enemy keeps have walls. Build a ram and wait a season, or storm them now and pay for it.
  • A twelve-board campaign, each board with its own goal and season limit, and a three-board tutorial road that teaches the basics in about ten minutes.
